SAFEOREGON - THREATS & VIOLENCE - REPORT-A-TIP HOTLINE
All kids should feel safe at school and in their communities. SafeOregon gives kids, parents, schools and their communities a way to report safety threats or potential acts of violence. Together, we’ll empower people to speak out and spark change. (www.safeoregon.com)

Menstrual Dignity act:
In November of 2021 Oregon Department of Education (ODE) created The Menstrual Dignity Act (HB 3294, 2021) requiring all Oregon public schools and school districts to provide free menstruation products to all menstruating students. For years, Siletz School has provided free menstrual products to our students in the health office and main office. As of February of 2022, every student bathroom now has free products and disposal that allow for more privacy. We are excited to offer this in abundance to our students. If you would like to learn more, the toolkit provided by ODE is linked below.
